founded M.I.B Construction and Hilltown CC out of a pure passion for people. Our ambitions, goals and our inspirations, all come together to form a truly amazing company that all of us are proud to be a part of.
Our combined 127 years of contractor experience sets us apart from our competitors.
Since beginning our journey as business partners back in 2000, we have become masters at our craft. Hilltown CC was established as a division of M.I.B.
Hilltown Custom Cabinetry specializes in using unique wood products and designed to meet your specific needs. Our true inspiration and love of our work is in our finished carpentry. Over the years we have built custom pieces for many clients. Our onsite wood working shop provides the best opportunity for us to create your custom project from the ground up.

CJ is a 2nd generation Carpenter. He began his carpentry skill building as a young boy working alongside his dad-Charles Plesnar, a.k.a Charles Plesnar Building and Remodeling. Charles(Charlie) had a shop above the garage which was attached to the family home. CJ was able to spend many hours as a child and into his adulthood working in the shop and learning the trade. CJ worked with his dad, then Carlton Roberts and Russ Donelson before starting his business with Mark Cormier in 2000.
Mark studied carpentry at Franklin County Technical School. He was the first graduating class of FCTS in 1980. He began his Co-op with Charles Plesnar Building and remodeling in 1979. Before his partnership with CJ, he worked with Carlton Roberts.
Mark and CJ have been in the western Massachusetts community their entire lives. They both learned carpentry skills from similar contractors and moved on to start their own business. They have integrated their years of learning from the highly respected contractors of our area and incorporating the modern day tools and equipment into their current business.
They focus on meeting the needs of each client and utilizing local sub contractors to get the job done. M.I.B partners with a variety of contributing contractors depending upon the project and availability of the sub contractor. If you have a favorite sub contractor, M.I.B will be open to discussing how it fits the needs of the project. M.I.B prides themselves on the ability to work with others.
